I was there as a public interest employer representative. Students were not there. The other employers in my room and I stood awkwardly at our cocktail tables (no chairs) for two hours. I had one resume drop. Some in my room had none. Nobody had more than 2 or 3.
And there was lemonade, yes, in the far corner of one of the 3 rooms. It was watered down and bitter tasting.
I'm not sure what happened, but NYU career services burned a lot of public interest employer good will by way overpromising student attendance. I'm not sure what the explanation could be.
