News of two Berkeley Law School graduates getting in a fight over a chair at a BarBri class has me hanging my head in shame (and hoping that neither participant was one of my friends). Though I’m sure the bar exam is about 100 times more stressful than the LSAT, I still can’t remember ever having been so filled with anxiety that I would become physically involved with someone to save a chair for a friend or to reclaim a chair that I thought was rightfully mine. (My worst offense was giving someone a dirty look for tapping their pencil.)
So in case there are any recent graduates reading this, please refer to our post on dealing with stress before you take your perceived injustice into your own hands. Chances are that prime seat in Booth Auditorium is not worth being labeled “the girl who fought over a chair” by your colleagues.
