For all of you out there still buzzing about Boalt's low bar passage rate, we bring you hope in the form of Kristen Holmquist (left). 

The new "Director of Academic Support" at Boalt, Holmquist was snagged from UCLA to fill a position in part created out of concern for Boalt's students' bar exam performance. 

Although Boalt still has one of the highest passage rates in California, it's seen a fairly significant slip in the last 10 years.  Petra has more on this (and Holmquist) at Cal Law (free registration required).
